Scorpion HD-Tech SCO114 Pool Cue Wooden Shaft SCO114

Scorpion HD-Tech SCO114 Pool Cue — Gloss Black with Blue Stripe, TPS Wooden Shaft

The HD-Tech series from Scorpion combines the fiberglass armor protection that Scorpion is known for with a genuine wooden shaft — specifically the TPS (Telson Performance System) hard rock maple shaft. You get the warp resistance and durability of fiberglass on the butt side, and the natural feel and response of a wooden shaft where it counts most. The forearm and butt sleeve are gloss black with a blue and white stripe design and a single red stripe — sharp and clean under any lighting. The Aculeus layered tip with a carbon fiber pad underneath is the standout performance feature: the carbon pad stiffens the tip base for more direct energy transfer without going full phenolic-hard.

High-Performance Features

• TPS Hard Rock Maple Shaft: 29" wooden shaft using Scorpion's Telson Performance System — you get a natural wood feel where it matters while the butt carries the fiberglass protection.
• 12mm Aculeus Tip with Carbon Fiber Pad: The carbon fiber pad under the tip stiffens the base for more direct hit feel and better energy transfer — a meaningful upgrade over a standard layered tip.
• Gloss Black with Blue/White Stripe and Red Accent: Clean, athletic-looking design that holds up under the clear coat finish better than painted surfaces.
• 10mm XTC Ferrule: Matched to the 12mm tip diameter for a consistent, durable ferrule-to-tip interface.
• Inox Quick Release Pin: Fast, secure joint connection — break down and reassemble quickly without a standard threaded pin.
• Scorpion Rubber Plug Bumper: Sealed bumper design protects the butt end. Limited Manufacturer's Warranty.
